LINKcat

LINKcat is the shared catalog for a consortium of public libraries in Wisconsin that work together and with the South Central Library System to create a network of shared computer systems and services. Because LINKcat combines the library collections of all LINKcat libraries, the system gives you access to nearly 3 million items representing more than 800,000 different titles!

Access LINKkcat in two ways

Some of the benefits of using LINKcat

  • Digital library card - The LINKcat mobile app displays a digital version of your library card from the home screen of the app. The library can scan your digital barcode.
  • Create lists - Create lists of your favorite items, items you want to check our later, or any other type of list you want to keep when you use LINKcat's List feature.
  • Manage your holds - You can have up to 75 items on hold. You can manage your holds so that they are all pending, or you may suspend holds so too many items do not come at the same time. You can also suspend holds if you'll be out of town or unavailable to pick your holds up, and may set a date for the hold to resume pending status.
  • Availability - LINKcat is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
