Preserving Local History
Beginning September 2018, the AWC Public Library began a project to digitally perserve local history. With the team of volunteers lead by Tamara Ramski (from South Central Library System), the project began by organizing and scanning letters written by service members during World War II. Much like Facebook connects people today, these letters were published in the local paper to let families and friends in the area know what was going on overseas. Angie W.
